"Unlocking the Magic" at the Disney Store

Did you know you can help a Disney Store Cast member open the Disney store? There is a special Ceremony, which goes on everyday, before the Disney Store opens. All the lights in the Store are turned off. They pick the first arriving guest to help unlock the magic. We were lucky enough to be the first ones waiting for the Disney Store to open. It was Alani's Birthday and she was very excited to participate in such a magical opening ceremony.

In order to wake up Mickey Mouse and his friends, we have to "Unlock the Magic", we will need a big key to put in the Big Key hole in the front of the store. The cast members will play a magical holiday song and once you here the music playing, This means the key to unlock the magic is on the pixie dust blue path, coming our way.

Once the Key is brought to the front, Alani helped the cast Member put the key in inside the key hole. We started to count down, 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1!! Alani turned the key and she unlocked the magic! All the lights in the store turned on and so did the music. After the ceremony the Cast member, thanked Alani for her help and gave her a small replica of the key she used to unlock the magic today, It was such a cute ceremony to be apart of. We can't wait to do it again!
