Santa has Arrived at Disney California Adventure inside RedWood Creek Challenge Trail, from November 10th to December 24th. Time may vary so make sure to check the Disneyland website for time and dates for Santa's hours of operation.
Meeting Santa:
Santa is located in the Ahwahnee Camp Circle near the entrance of the Redwood creek challenge Trail. Theres a few signs around the playground showing you, where you can find Santa. Get there as EARLY as possible! Once it starts getting closer to Christmas, the line to see Santa gets up to 3hrs.
Don't forget to sign the "Santa's Nice List"! You'll be able to take pictures with Santa and discuss with him, what you want for Christmas and why you shouldn't be in the Naughty List!
After meeting with Santa, you get a Candy cane and off to the playground you go.
Activity Map:
Make sure to grab an activity map, when entering the trail. The activity will guide you to all the jolly holly Christmas activities. Keep your eyes out for those presents with letters to complete one of the puzzles on the map and fun christmas decor! Cross the jingle bridge and hear the bells ring. Slide down the Hoot-Holler Logs and play the pack the presents game, you'll slide down the logs with Santa's presents and give it to the elf in the bottom of the log to put into Santa's bag.
Treats for Santa!
After all the running around in Redwood creek playground, a seating down activity sounds pretty amazing right about now. How does decorating a Mickey Mouse Snowman Cookie sound? At the Tunnel Tree area, you will find a cart full of Mickey Mouse snowman cookie decorating kits for $7.50, warm bourbon cider $11.50, Ghirardelli white hot chocolate (non-alcoholic) $4.75, a Festival of Holidays Souvenir Tumbler $9.25 and a couple of sodas, milks,or water to purchase. Theres also tables and benches to decorate your cookies at and drink your warm bourbon cider or white hot chocolate.
Alani and I decided to purchase the Mickey Mouse Snowman cookie decorating kit. It came with a Mickey Mouse snowman cookie, red, white, and green frosting, mini M&Ms and sprinkles. It was so much fun watching Alani play around with the frosting, decorating the cookie and eating the sprinkles and M&Ms.
