Mickey Mouse Birthday Celebration

Mickey Mouse turns 89 years old on November 18,2017. Mickey Mouse first appeared in 1928 on the screen of the Colony theatre at New York City. The film, Walt Disney's Steamboat Willie, was the first animated cartoon talking picture.

Today at Disneyland, we celebrated Mickey Mouse's Birthday! When entering the park, you are giving a "Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse 2017" button. All through out the parks, there are photo ops with "Happy birthday Mickey Mouse"signs. They also had a Mickey Mouse Birthday Celebration Parade, at 11:45am which started off at "It's a small world" and made its way down to main street. We sang Happy Birthday to Mickey Mouse, with the help of Donald, Goofy, Minnie Mouse and all his friends who came out to celebrate his birthday today. The celebration ended with Mickey Mouse shaped confetti blasting off on Main Street. It was so much fun and so adorable to watch with the kids! Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse!
