Paradise Garden Grill

Decisions, decisions, I really couldn't decide what I wanted to try out first. I went with the "Yucatan-Inspired Vaporcitos" Chicken Tamales Steamed in Banana Leaves with ranchero salsa, golden rice and beans $11.99

I'm a huge Banana leave Tamale fan! Growing up with a Guatemalan/Hondurena mom, we would always eat Banana leave tamales. I just love how moist the tamales and the chicken inside are, I was hoping the Tamales from Disneyland wouldn't disappoint me and they didn't!!! I was so elated and i couldn't believe how delicious the Chicken Banana leave Tamales were! I wanted Seconds, but I needed room for dessert!

Alani seemed to love the chicken tamale too

Beverage: I ordered a "Agua de Jamaica Slush" Sweet Hibiscus Tea Slush $5.49. It was really refreshing! It wasn't too sweet, it was just perfect. It tastes just like the ones I get in any Mercado. I love to go to Northgate :p

Oh! and for Dessert "TRES LECHES PARFAIT!!!" Vanilla Cake layered with Sweet Caramel Cream and Dark Rum $5.49. It was amazing, perfect portion of it, and You can really taste the rum in the cake. The decoration on top of the parfait was Charming! I didn't know the Sugar Skull was white chocolate, until I took it out so Alani can play with it. Nope It was white chocolate with edible an print, Alani ate that up real quick. I can't wait to try more Mexican Inspired food in DCA Paradise Garden Grill
